Courvoisier XO Royal is a blend of Fins Bois de Jarnac and Grande Champagne, revived by Master Blender Patrice Pinet from the historic Edward VII Reserve — a cognac commissioned by Britain’s King Edward VII in the early 1900s, of which a few bottles remain in the Paradis Cellar in Jarnac. The XO Royal bottle honours the iconic teardrop design introduced by fourth-generation Master Blender Daniel Dumon for the original Courvoisier XO in 1984 — sculpted to represent a drop of perfume rippling across a pool. The glass stopper features 30 facets; the gold collar bears Napoléon’s silhouette against a repeat pattern of the bee — a historic symbol of French sovereignty. 700ml.

Courvoisier was founded in Jarnac, France, and has been synonymous with prestige cognac since Napoléon Bonaparte himself is said to have favoured the house. The XO Royal pays homage to the origin of Maison Courvoisier and its charismatic founder — blending the richness of Grande Champagne and the vibrancy of Fins Bois in a cognac of extraordinary regal heritage.
