Rymill Coonawarra was established in 1974, by Peter Rymill - the great-grandson of John Riddoch, the founder of Coonawarra. Since then, Rymill Coonawarra has built on this legacy and evolved into a destination described as a ‘must visit’ by highly regarded wine critic James Halliday.
Building on the Rymill family’s history of pioneering within the Coonawarra region, their modern winemaking team has taken up the challenge to handcraft the very best expression of what the unique terra rossa soil and cool climate of Coonawarra can deliver.
The Rymill Coonawarra philosophy is to make wines of finesse, power and balance from only their own estate grown fruit. Rymill are proudly 100% Sustainable, 100% Coonawarra and 100% estate grown. Their philosophy extends beyond the wine as they know truly great flavour embodies the care taken in the vineyards to produce healthy vines and protect the environment around them.
