Vintage Conditions

The 2024 vintage in Adelaide Hills delivered a cool, even growing season that yielded wines with intense yet delicate flavours and vibrant colours. February and March saw an absence of rainfall, coupled with low crop yields and warmer temperatures, which led to an unusually fast-paced harvest. Perfect autumn weather allowed completion of the harvest by mid-April, a full month ahead of the 2023 harvest. The cool, even growing season created ideal conditions for developing the bright and lifted aromatics of cherry blossom, strawberry and raspberry whilst maintaining the clean palate and dry finish. The combination of favourable vintage conditions, low crop yields and cool climate terroir results in a Shiraz rosé with vibrant colour, intense yet delicate flavours and exceptional freshness that showcases the distinctive character of Adelaide Hills.
