La Gioiosa 0.0% is an alcohol-free Sparkling alternative made by La Gioiosa winemaker Stefano Gava with 100% Glera grapes. The process used to produce La Gioiosa 0.0% is different from de-alcoholised wine; whole grapes are put into a pneumatic press for soft pressing and the resulting must, after a first racking, is placed into temperature-controlled tanks at 0%, where it remains until it is used for the production of 0% sparkling. CO2 is added gently to ensure a fine perlage.

The result is a sparkling alternative which retains lovely white flower and golden apple aromas but which is also lower in calories than most zero alcohol offerings. At just 22kcal per 100 ml it can fit into a health conscious lifestyle.
