First produced in 1997 and often described as a black forest gateau in a glass, it is almost the perfect descriptor for this rich, powerful and luscious Sparkling Red that is one of the cornerstones of Fox Creek’s portfolio.
The powerful fruit flavour profile of our Shiraz and rich structural tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by the focus and herbal lift of the Cabernet Franc, combine to give the wine an exquisite balance and drinkability.
A blend of selected components from various vintages, carefully blended to achieve our classic Vixen style. It is made to be a rich, fruity and full flavoured wine with a party attitude that sparkling red aficionados will adore.
Bright cherry red with a fine sparkling bead. Leafy herbs, raspberry, red cherry, musk sticks, strawberry and cream, cinnamon, vanilla, milk chocolate.
A silky palate oozing raspberry, red cherry, strawberry and cream, spicy vanillin oak, gingerbread, milk chocolate roasted almonds. The wine has a clean finish with bright zingy acid and a crunchy tannin length.
