Wine Varieties

Yangarra specialises in the best grape varieties of the southern Rhône, with old bush vine Grenache serving as the cornerstone variety. The estate produces exceptional Grenache, GSM (Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre) blends, Shiraz, Roussanne and more obscure varieties including Bourboulenc, Picpoul Noir, Clairette Blanc and Counoise. Yangarra was the first in Australia to commercially plant Grenache Blanc, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to experimentation and innovation. The collection includes preservative-free wines that showcase pure fruited natural wine expression.
