Collection: Xavier Goodridge | Gippsland

Xavier Goodridge makes idiosyncratic, organically farmed Pinot Noir from a four-hectare vineyard in Maffra, Gippsland — his wife’s hometown, and a site he has been converting to organic farming since taking on a long-term lease in 2018. The vineyard was established in 1987, planted on sandy loam light clay over sandstone and quartz, and is now home to multiple Pinot Noir clones alongside Chardonnay.

Xavier’s approach is minimal: spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no filtration, large-format old French oak. He also works with exceptional growers in Mount Gambier and Henty for his PA PA range. The result is wines of genuine purity and a clear sense of place — Gippsland Pinot Noir as it should be.
