Collection: Syrahmi | Heathcote

Syrahmi is Adam Foster’s small-production Heathcote project — a micro-winery with a single purpose: to produce wines of extraordinary site expression from Heathcote’s ancient Cambrian soil. Foster came to winemaking via a chef’s apprenticeship and years in some of Victoria and London’s best kitchens, before working with Torbreck, Chapoutier, Jasper Hill and Domaine Ogier. He released his first vintage of Heathcote Shiraz in 2004 with 100 cases.

The range is deliberately small — Shiraz and Mourvèdre, produced in limited quantities from single vineyard sites, handled individually in the winery right through to final selection. Syrahmi and La La are always single clone, single vineyard. Demi is a blend of multiple clones and vineyards. Minimal intervention throughout. Vegan certified. Wines built for the cellar and genuinely unlike anything else made in Heathcote.
