From the historic McBain Road vineyards in northern Coonawarra, crafted by Winemaker Sue Hodder, this is a wine of purity, balance, and composure: Cabernet Sauvignon providing the framework with fine structure, cool-climate definition, and line; Shiraz contributing plush, generous fruit that fills the mid-palate without ever overwhelming it. Medium-bodied, supple, and beautifully balanced — Cabernet brings fine, chalky tannins, cassis purity, and a long, graceful line, while Shiraz contributes mid-palate juiciness and warm spice. Flavours of blackberry, redcurrant, and dark plum unfold alongside touches of cocoa, anise, and subtle pepper.
