Winemaking Notes
The Vigneti Radica Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2022 is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. As soon as the grapes are harvested, they are de-stemmed and crushed, with the must conveyed directly into small stainless steel fermentation vessels. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures for approximately two weeks, preserving the fruit's vibrant character and aromatic intensity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for about 15 months, allowing the flavours to integrate whilst maintaining the wine's fresh, fruit-forward profile and smooth tannin structure.

Vintage Conditions
The 2022 vintage in Abruzzo presented favourable growing conditions for Montepulciano. The season benefited from warm, sunny days and cool nights, which allowed the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness whilst retaining natural acidity. Moderate rainfall during the growing season ensured healthy vine development, whilst dry conditions during harvest enabled the grapes to be picked at peak maturity. These ideal vintage conditions contributed to wines with concentrated fruit flavours, balanced structure, and excellent ageing potential.
