This 2015 Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut Champagne impresses with its elegant, vibrant, and lively character. The initial impression reveals a distinct tension and verticality, followed by notes of toast, roasted coffee beans, and praline. Its strong and refined structure makes it a standout vintage. Its bright yellow colour and aromatic bouquet offer a symphony of citrus fruits such as orange, grapefruit, and lemon peel, complemented by hints of pastry, biscuit, brioche, crumble, marmalade, dried apricot, date, roasted almond, hazelnut, and honey.

Winery & Vintage Info

Take a closer look at Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut Champagne 2015 (France) to discover what makes it truly unique. With an exceptional aromatic depth and complexity achieved through extended lees ageing and partial oak cask maturation, this 67th vintage marks a significant milestone for Maison Clicquot, founded by Madame Clicquot in 1810.

Presented in a beautiful gift box (crafted from 50% hemp and 50% recycled paper) with a brown wood pattern that's a nod to the oak casks the champagne has been partially aged in, it has an immense ageing potential of more than 15 years – making it a great gift, too.

The predominance of Pinot Noir (50%), the touch of 10% of wines produced in oak casks and the prolonged aging on the lees give the power and aromatic richness so typical of Veuve Clicquot Vintage style. Chardonnay (30%) brings the elegance and finesse of a perfectly balanced wine, while a small percentage of Pinot Meunier (20%) rounds out the blend.

Veuve Clicquot’s Vintage collection is unique for its use of wines vinified and aged in large oak casks (10%), which adds strength and aromatic intensity. The cask-aged wines bring an additional complexity with their spicy notes and subtle roast coffee and toasted aromas.
