Distillery Info

Suntory created this whisky to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 1969 and has been extremely popular. The Suntory Special Reserve Blended Japanese Whisky is a blend of Chita grain, Yamazaki, Hakushu malts matured in first fill American oak barrels. This has created a whisky that is creamy and intricate as well as fruity with a higher percent of Hakushu malt that conveys classic Hakushu notes of stewed green apples.
