Pirramimma Stock’s Hill Shiraz 2023 is the product of 129 years of family winemaking in McLaren Vale — one of the oldest remaining family-owned wineries in South Australia, with a lifeblood that endures through the earth and vines of Pirramimma. Rich black cherry and mulberry on the nose, complemented by subtle spice and cedar oak; blackberry, plum, cranberry, and dark chocolate on the palate, with a touch of cracked pepper and liquorice. Fermented in static fermenters co-inoculated with malolactic bacteria, with gentle daily pump overs and a week on skins before each parcel was pressed, settled, and matured in American oak for 14–18 months.
