The 2024 Pepperjack Pinot Noir from Central Otago presents a captivating aroma of ripe plum, dark cherry, and mocha, with a subtle hint of fresh wild thyme. Its palate reveals concentrated dark cherry and lively cassis flavours, balanced by smooth, enveloping tannins that lend a silky mouthfeel. Complementary notes of savoury cocoa and resinous spices, derived from oak maturation and whole bunch fermentation, enrich the red and blue fruit character, leading to a complex and powerful finish.

The Pepperjack winemaking team has respect for traditional winemaking techniques yet is also dynamic and imaginative. The Pepperjack winemakers are conscious of modern wine styles, and are creating wines that reflect our passion for th e regions the wines are made from. The Pepperjack wines are rich and honest - showcasing outstanding qualities. A mix of de-stemmed and whole bunch, the parcels of fruit were fermented separately in traditional open top fermenters. The wines were gently pressed, racked and transferred onto oak for maturation before blending and bottling.
