Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Champagne Magnum 1.5L – France's iconic champagne in a celebratory 1500ml format, delivering elegant citrus, orchard fruit and fine bubbles.

This prestigious Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut magnum showcases the house's signature style with remarkable finesse. Presented in a generous 1.5-litre bottle, this champagne is perfect for special occasions and gatherings.

The wine displays a beautiful golden straw-yellow colour with subtle green highlights, immediately signalling its quality and freshness. On the nose, the bouquet is refreshingly intense, revealing vibrant green apple and citrus fruit aromas, complemented by mineral nuances and delicate white flower notes that add complexity and elegance.

The palate offers a harmonious balance between sumptuousness and subtlety. White-fleshed fruits—pear, peach, and apple—provide generous flavour, whilst the fine, persistent mousse caresses the palate. Bright citrus and gooseberry notes bring a soft vivacity that keeps the wine lively and engaging through to the finish.

This Impérial Brut magnum exemplifies Moët & Chandon's expertise in crafting champagnes that are both approachable and sophisticated, making it an excellent choice for celebrations or as a distinguished gift.

Winery & Vintage Info

Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is crafted through the traditional méthode champenoise, blending approximately 30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier, and 20-30% Chardonnay sourced from over 200 crus across the Champagne region.

The base wines undergo primary fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit character, followed by careful assemblage of reserve wines from previous vintages—typically comprising 20-30% of the final blend—to ensure the house's signature consistency and complexity. After bottling with liqueur de tirage, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation and ages on its lees for a minimum of 24-36 months in the Maison's historic chalk cellars beneath Épernay, developing fine, persistent bubbles and enhanced depth. Following disgorgement, a precisely calibrated dosage of approximately 9 grams per litre is added, positioning this champagne firmly in the brut category whilst maintaining the elegant balance between vibrant acidity and subtle sweetness that has defined Impérial since its creation in 1869.
