Majella The Musician Cabernet Shiraz 2022 (Coonawarra)

Made from a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon and 31% Shiraz, Majella The Musician 2022 was produced from grapes grown in the renowned red soils of Coonawarra, South Australia. The fruit underwent primary fermentation in a combination of 10-tonne stainless steel static fermenters, pumped over twice daily, and 20-tonne rotary fermenters. Select parcels were finished in new and second-use French oak hogsheads, with the wine aged for 6 to 10 months in a mix of French and American hogsheads, of which 10% were new barrels. This minimal oak influence preserves the wine’s vibrant fruit character while adding subtle complexity, resulting in a well-balanced, approachable red.
