Winery & Vintage Info

A mix of cool climate vineyards from King Valley & Yarra Valley give the wine great backbone & length, which are blended with warmer climate Riverina fruit which offers lovely fruit and depth.

Being a non-vintage product, the vintage conditions vary with season. This is a blend of several vintages with an average age of 3 years. The base wines are blended to a style – creamy, complex, fine, interesting.

Fruit is gently pressed to avoid any of the nasty bitter flavours. The pressed juice is fermented in both tank and cask at elevated temperatures to 'blow off' the fruitiness. The resultant wines are light and mineral and have a texture and feel about them that makes them dry and very delicious. The base wines are blended each year and then over blended with previous vintage material to produce the desired flavour profile. The resultant cuvées then undergo secondary fermentation to give them their fizz.

67% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 3% Other
