"It spends 20 months in all-new French oak. I don’t have any information on where that French oak is coopered. Bourbon, toast, fresh-cut cedar-wood, resin and a long swoosh of blackcurrant. This is both rich and fine at once, its length of flavour seriously impressive, so too the firmness/fineness of the tannin. It is overtly oak influenced but within that setting it feels complete."
