“Starting to understand the site. This was picked a week later than last year” says economical wordsmith winemaker Franco D’Anna. "Leans toward more tropical in flavour profile, almost to mango, some citrus, light spicy oak, with a little struck match. Fruit from Yea but made in exactly the same manner as the Hoddles Creek Estate range. This Chardonnay has a purity of fruit and beautiful line of acid. Working closely with their growers to ensure the fruit is grown to their standards.
The Yea climate is similar to Hoddles Creek, hence the juice requires no acidification or fining.
