Review of Water Wheel 5 Rounds Baringhup Shiraz 2017 vintage by Wine Sellers Direct:
"Five barren years, five hard rounds, but Baringhup is back, and with no holds barred. Seriously, this is an old-fashioned, heart on its sleeve kind of Shiraz. Lashings of sweet oak and ripe blackberry and cherry aromas give it an almost Black Forest cake like richness of bouquet, and the palate is a flood of soft, generous fruit flavour carried along by supple, surprisingly velvety tannins and a flush of warmth that comes with the 15.5% a/v. They don't make them like this any more."
