Winery & Vintage Info

Estate Grown Shiraz is a blend from our Short Flat, Weinkeller and NVC Vineyards. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1968, 1970 and 1996.

Fermented in stainless steel open top vats, the fruit was de-stemmed but not crushed, ensuring as many whole berries as possible were in the fermenter. All blocks were fermented separately and matured in mostly newer large format French Oak (2,700L) and some barriques (225L) until November 2022, when they were blended to create the Estate Grown blend.
