The wine has lifted varietal Riesling character with floral and citrus aromatics of grapefruit, lime and lemon.The palate is seamless with slight viscosity and a brisk acid finish. Winery & Vintage Info

The 2017 growing season was extremely wet, with some flooding in the Clare Valley in late September. However, the wet winter and cool spring provided the region with plenty of sub surface moisture which in turn has resulted in excellent quality and high yields.

Vintage started on Monday 27th February, 3 weeks later than 2016, but the same day as vintage 1975, “back to the old original harvest time”, Tim said. Winery Notes
