Taylors Jaraman Chardonnay 2024 (Adelaide Hills & Clare Valley)

The 2024 vintage of Taylors Jaraman Chardonnay is a unique blend of fruit from Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley, resulting in a complex and elegant wine with distinct flavours of citrus, white peach, and nectarine, as well as a subtle flinty note. Upon release, the wine is a pale straw colour with a green hue. It boasts intense aromas of melon, lime, and stone fruits, with hints of tropical notes like green pineapple and guava, as well as secondary notes of flint, cedar, and spice. On the palate, it delivers on the promised citrus, fig, and melon flavours, with a clean, mineral acidity and a touch of lemon zest. It has a delicate texture, a soft mid palate, and a well-integrated oak. The Clare Valley fruit adds fleshiness to the mid palate, while the Adelaide Hills component brings restrained fruit flavours and a hint of the region's characteristic minerality.
