Tambo Merrill Chardonnay 2011 (Gippsland)

This is the most developed expression of any chardonnay produced by Alastair Butt at Tambo vineyard. It has awesome power, grace, depth and finesse; pure grapefruit, nectarine and peach flesh aromas are framed by complex, toasty, grilled nuts; the palate is amazingly concentrated, yet portrays a lightness that is completely beguiling and incredibly long.

This Cellar Release of Tambo Merrill Chardonnay 2011 vintage has a richness and roundness that has developed as the wine ages and softens, layering fresh-fruit aromatics with hazelnut, vanilla and toast. Excellent length and depth with a clean lingering finish on the Tambo Merrill Chardonnay 2011.
