Winery & Vintage Info

Tallarida Vineyard is a boutique winery in Boneo, on the Mornington Peninsula. Just over an hour from Melbourne, this picturesque corner of Victoria is home to vineyards, market gardens and some of the best regional restaurants in Australia. Tallarida Vineyard and Winery was established in the mid 1980s and is owned and operated by the Tallarida family.

The property has a history of producing benchmark and award-winning Chardonnay, and in recent years, has moved into Pinot Noir. Varieties also include Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet, from which a variety of wine styles are made.

The Tallarida Winery processes grapes from the property, as well as other local vineyards.

Rocco Domenico Tallarida purchased the property and farmhouse in the mid 1980s, with the view to indulge in his passion for making wine. The Vineyard and Winery is now managed by Rocco’s family, including his children and grandchildren (with the great grandkids also running around), who are all driven in honouring Rocco’s memory through realising his vision for the property, and passion for wine.
