Parish Braincake is a medium-bodied Double NEIPA of genuine complexity and smooth, refreshing balance — crafted with a double-wheat malt profile that delivers a featherlike, downy mouthfeel, with Strata and Cashmere hops combining for intense dry-hop character, sweet berry cobbler aromas on the nose, and Citra Incognito rounding out the experience with a clean tropical finish of bright mango and guava. Complex, smooth, and built for 473mL of serious enjoyment — from Parish Brewing in the heart of Cajun Country, Louisiana.

Appearance

Hazy, deep golden with a soft, pillowy head — the rich, inviting pour of a Double NEIPA with the double-wheat malt body and soft haze that Strata, Cashmere, and Citra Incognito demand.

Aroma

Sweet berry cobbler leads a lush and expressive bouquet — Strata and Cashmere hops delivering intense dry-hop character with Citra Incognito adding bright mango and guava complexity underneath. Rich, juicy, and immediately compelling.

Palate

Medium-bodied with a featherlike, downy mouthfeel from the double-wheat malt profile — intense dry-hop character from Strata and Cashmere giving way to a clean tropical finish of bright mango and guava from Citra Incognito. Complex, smooth, and refreshingly balanced from first sip to last.

Serving Suggestions

Well chilled straight from the can — alongside spicy Cajun food, grilled chicken, fresh fruit desserts, or simply on its own as the complex, juicy Double NEIPA it is. Best fresh. Drink it like you mean it.

Producer History

Parish Brewing Co. was founded by Andrew Godley in Broussard, Louisiana — in the heart of Cajun Country — after he moved from Louisiana to Pittsburgh in 2003, discovered a thriving craft beer scene, and returned home to find almost none. Starting in a 50-gallon nano brewery making just 20 kegs a week, Parish’s first beer, Canebrake — named for the abounding sugarcane fields of the region — was a hit from the start, beloved by light beer drinkers and tenth-level beer nerds alike. In 2012, Parish completed construction on a new brewery and has been growing ever since, becoming one of the largest breweries in the region and earning international recognition for Ghost in the Machine and their juice bomb IPAs. Today, Parish has seven year-round beers, a team of 34 hard-working employees, and a simple philosophy: make intensely flavoured, modern beer of the highest quality, and only brew products that people actually want to drink. Crazy concept, they know.
