Paringa Estate Estate Pinot Noir 2023

Paringa Estate's 2023 Estate Pinot Noir captures the depth and fragrance that have made the winery one of Mornington Peninsula's respected Pinot Noir producers. Sourced from mature vineyards around Red Hill, it combines bright cherry fruit with wild herbs, gentle spice and a savoury complexity that gives the wine plenty of character.

This is a Pinot Noir with both elegance and substance. Whole-bunch fermentation contributes aromatic interest, while the interplay of vibrant acidity, fine tannins and well-integrated oak gives the wine structure without overwhelming its fruit. It's a particularly appealing choice for the table, especially alongside duck, mushrooms or roast poultry.

Colour: Bright ruby red, with youthful clarity and attractive depth.

Nose: Fragrant red and dark cherries lead, followed by briar, wild herbs, floral notes and subtle earthy spice.

Palate: Juicy cherry fruit meets savoury undergrowth and gentle spice. The palate is supple on entry, developing fine, persistent tannins and lively acidity that provide definition and balance.

Finish: Long and refreshing, with lingering cherry, savoury spice and a fine tannin grip.

How to Enjoy

Serve at approximately 14–16°C with roast duck, mushroom risotto, roast chicken or pork. Its combination of fresh acidity and savoury complexity makes it especially rewarding alongside food.
