Sixty refers to the number of meticulously selected crus that create a blend both precise and crisp. The wines from the harvest year, divided equally among Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, are vinified separately by cru and variety in stainless steel vats. Forty represents the share of reserve wines—40% equally split between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir—that contribute depth and richness. Ten indicates the average age in years of these reserve wines, an exceptional duration for Champagne, aged between 5 and 15 years or more.
