The wine displays bright copper colour with nicely fruited nose showing red apple, rockmelon and lemon peel characteristics with hints of apple blossom and vanilla, demonstrating the premium quality winemaking approach. Buttermans Track Wines is owned and operated by Gary, Louise and Joel Trist, with the vineyard and winery located in the heart of St Andrews on the edge of the Yarra Valley. The Sangiovese grapes are sourced from 0.53 hectares planted in 2003 on grafted rootstock Richter 110, consisting of 50 percent MAT1 and 50 percent MAT2 clones. The rosé showcases lovely weight and rounded mouth feel with juicy summer berry fruit undertones beautifully supported by fine texture and bright acidity, creating a flavoursome rosé offering delightful drinking.
