Winery & Vintage Info

The 2023 Cool Climate Pinot Noir from Red Hill Estate was put together from a range of vineyards with each parcel having different treatments. Such as one parcel was cold soaked at zero degrees on skins for 2 days, others fermented straight on skin for 8-10 days.

Fermentation temperatures ranged from 20-25ËšC to keep fruit purity. Once the parcels had finished fermenting, they were pressed off skins and racked to a balance of new and old french oak, with a portion staying un-oaked, so as to back blend in later to bring a brightness to the palate.
