Producer History

Deeds Brewing was an independent craft brewery based in Glen Iris, Melbourne — founded by Patrick Alé and David Milstein, two engineering students who met in 2003 and spent years dreaming of starting their own brewery before finally establishing Quiet Deeds in 2012. After 18 years running a successful drinks distribution business importing high-quality beers and ciders from around the world, they took the plunge — securing a former car workshop in Paran Place in 2015, brewing their first ever beer, Double Time, in February 2019, and opening their Glen Iris taproom and kitchen in April 2020. Over the years that followed, Deeds built a dedicated team and a devoted following with award-winning beers defined by quality, consistency, care, innovation, and creativity. Sadly, Deeds Brewing ceased trading in March 2025, with the brewery and Glen Iris taproom closing their doors for good. Every remaining bottle and can is a piece of Melbourne craft beer history.
