Pete's Pure Pinot Noir 2021

Named after the Pete, The Vineyard Manager, Pete’s Pure Pinot Noir is made from the Sunraysia regions which have a climate well suited for growing vines, with warm summer days and plenty of sunshine, allowing ripe fruit flavours and sugars to develop.

In 2021 there were warm days, cool nights and little or no rain. This led to excellent ripening conditions resulting in bright, ripe fruit. The grapes are grown on vines aged 15-20 years, planted in calcareous earth. They are harvested into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks where they undergo fermentation, with the influence of American and French oak.
