42 Degrees South are part of the Frogmore Creek stable, who are renowned for making true Tasmanian wine under the watchful eye of Senior Wine maker, Alain Rousseau.
Named because 42°S is the central latitude of Tasmania and reflects the cool climate position in which the grapes are grown. The finished result is wine driven by the quality of the fruit with minimal intervention from the winemaking team who prefer to let the fruit do all the work.

The 42 Degrees South Sparkling Cuvée NV is a hallmark of the pristine cool climate of South Australia. Whole-bunch pressed to retain fruit delicacy, 25% of Base wines from previous vintage is blended with the new wine.
