De Bortoli Windy Peak Pinot Noir 2019 (Victoria)

Grapes for De Bortoli's 2019 Windy Peak Pinot Noir are both hand and machine harvested, with a percentage of the hand harvested used for whole bunch inclusion. A combination of wine making techniques are used to produce a final blend with complexity and balance. These include cold maceration prior to fermentation, inclusion of whole bunches and warm fermentation at 28˚C to 32˚C. Minimal handling and filtration is adopted to preserve fruit flavour.

Good rainfall through to mid January and then a long dry summer. Very good quality in all vineyards. Good ripeness, flavour and intensity. Winery Notes
