Coopers XPA is all about extra hop flavour — a well-balanced, easy-drinking pale ale built around Simcoe and Lemondrop American hops added at different stages of the brewing process to achieve an optimal bitterness level with bright citrus undertones. Like all Coopers Ales, XPA is naturally conditioned and free from any additives or preservatives — brewed with the famous Coopers Ale yeast and a smooth malt character that lets the hops do the talking.

Appearance

Pale golden with the characteristic natural haze of a Coopers naturally conditioned ale — unfiltered, honest, and exactly as it should be.

Aroma

Bright and citrus-forward — grapefruit leads with a hint of mandarin, the Simcoe and Lemondrop hops delivering the kind of fresh, expressive aroma that defines a well-made extra pale ale.

Palate

Well-balanced and easy to drink, with citrus undertones and an optimal bitterness level that never overpowers the smooth malt character beneath. The famous Coopers Ale yeast adds a subtle complexity that sets XPA apart from the crowd — extra hop flavour, naturally conditioned, and free from additives or preservatives. Clean, fresh, and genuinely satisfying.

Pairs With

Grilled chicken, fish and chips, fresh seafood, light salads, and soft cheeses. A versatile and food-friendly pale ale that suits the backyard as much as the bar.
