Chandon Vintage Blanc De Blancs 2016

The Chandon Estate Grown Blanc de Blancs comes from our three great sparkling vineyard locations, Whitlands Plateau, Strathbogie Ranges and the Yarra Valley.

As one of the coldest vineyards sites in Australia, the Whitlands Plateau benefits from high altitude and cool air drainage from the plateau itself. The lofty exposure is complemented by red basalt ferrosol which are special soils that frequently produce wines of great personality and enduring age ability.

The Strathbogie vineyards sits at just over 600m elevation and has striking granite geological features, producing chardonnay grapes with profound flavour and minerality, for warmer Yarra Valley vineyards add stone fruit characters and softness.

The beautiful vineyard resources we have at high altitudes, the finesse and elegance of pure Chardonnay cuvées, and the complexity drawn from méthode traditionnelle are all on show in this exclusive release.
