In the Ardnamurchan AD/Cask Strength release, a larger proportion of peated whisky has been used compared to previous releases. The whisky has been aged in a mixture of bourbon and sherry casks, as well as unpeated, sherry-aged malt. The nose offers scents of orchard fruits, smoked cheese, oyster shells, and eucalyptus. On the palate, expect notes of tobacco, campfire embers, butterscotch, galangal, brine, and straw.
