Red Hill Estate

Australia

About

Red Hill Estate is quietly set among the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula, one of Australia's finest cool-climate wine regions, where sweeping vineyard views, thoughtful hospitality, and an ever-evolving seasonal menu come together with wines that are balanced, expressive, and true to their origins. Proudly guided by the Fabrizio family, whose Italian heritage is reflected in every aspect of the estate's passion and craftsmanship, Red Hill is a place where wine is personal — Frank and Dominic Fabrizio can be found in the vineyard, walking the rows, tasting the fruit, and calling the moment of harvest by instinct as much as by science. Closely involved from vine to bottle, the Fabrizio family work alongside a dedicated winemaking team to craft wines sourced from their own vineyard and select cool-climate regions across Australia — refined, expressive, and made to be shared. The traditional restaurant and cellar door invite guests to experience the estate in full: a place to settle in, slow down, and stay a little longer.

History

Established in 1989, Red Hill Estate was among the pioneering producers to recognise the Mornington Peninsula's extraordinary potential for cool-climate viticulture — a region shaped by the moderating maritime influence of Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, with soils and mesoclimates ideally suited to varieties of elegance and finesse. From those early vintages, the estate built a reputation for wines of genuine regional character, and that reputation has only deepened in the decades since. The Fabrizio family's stewardship has brought a new energy to the estate whilst preserving the philosophy that has guided Red Hill since its founding — grounded in patience, care, and an unwavering belief that great wine begins long before it reaches the glass. Grounded in family, focused on the future: this is Red Hill Estate today, and this is what thirty-five years of quiet dedication to the Mornington Peninsula looks like.
