Charles Heidsieck
About
Maison Charles Heidsieck stands as one of Champagne's most distinguished houses, renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality and the art of blending. Founded in Reims, the House maintains its historic Crayères—ancient chalk cellars dating back to Gallo-Roman times—where an exceptional library of reserve wines ages in perfect conditions at a constant 10°C. Under the guidance of Chef de Cave Cyril Brun, Charles Heidsieck built a reputation for producing Champagnes of remarkable complexity and consistency, with each cuvée showcasing the House's mastery of assemblage. The estate sources fruit from over 60 premier and grand cru vineyards across the Champagne region, with particular expertise in crafting outstanding Chardonnay-led wines. Today, Charles Heidsieck remains one of the smallest of the grandes marques, producing limited quantities that reflect its uncompromising dedication to excellence and its position as a true artisan amongst Champagne producers.
