The Wine X Sam The Victorian Shiraz 2022 vintage has a deep red colour, and is quite aromatic with blackcurrant and sweet spice aromatics. There is also a chocolatey note – this is partly from oak maturation, but also a regional characteristic associated with good Heathcote fruit. The tannins have a lovely ripe plushness to them, and the wine feels rich and full bodied.

Wine by Sam was started by husband and
wife team Sam Plunkett and Bron Dunwoodie
in 2012.

Back then, Sam and Bron were leasing winery space in the Strathbogie Ranges. Today their winery home is in the centre of Seymour. While the winery is relatively young, Sam has been making award winning wines in the region for more than 25 years.
