Suntory Hibiki 12 Year Old 700ml (Japanese Blended Whisky)

HIBIKI to the Japanese represents harmony, and so the name symbolises this unique marriage of malts and harmonious blend from Japan. The Hibiki 12 Year Old Japanese Whisky blend is amazing. This whisky contains malt whisky from Yamazaki and Hakushu, as well as grain whisky from Chita. The whisky is partly matured in plum liqueur barrels which is present when tasting. This is an increasingly difficult to find whisky since Suntory discontinued it in 2015. The 24 faces if the Hibiki bottle represent the 24 seasons the age-old Japanese calendar and celebrates the ancient tradition of Sekki which has been honoured for centuries. The front label is made form Washi, a hand crafted Japanese paper.
