The Lake Breeze Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz 2018 vintage has an uplifting nose, showing blackberry, aniseed and chocolate. The palate is full and luscious with excellent length of flavour and soft tannins.

"Released in prodigious vintages only, this is opaque and sumptuous. Mulberry pie with cream, all in your glass. The tannins are nicely wrought, oak and grape. Finely seamed, with plenty of cladding. The acidity, palpably natural, peppery and energetic, cutting a nice rail against the generous swell of fruit. Impeccably made."

The 2018 Winemaker's Selection Shiraz is a classic, rich, velvety Shiraz produced from 45 year old vines on the family property. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity and fermented on skins for 7-10 days in open fermenters, prior to maturing in French oak barriques for 20 months.
