Domaine Louis Boillot & Fils Volnay Les Grands Poisots 2015 (France)

Descended from the renowned Boillot family, Louis previously collaborated with his father and brother at Domaine Lucien Boillot in Gevrey-Chambertin. In 2000, he established his own domaine, inheriting part of Lucien Boillot's estate and acquiring vineyards from his grandfather at Domaine Henri Boillot. His inaugural vintage was released in 2003, initially produced in Gevrey-Chambertin before moving to his partner's cellar (Ghislaine Barthod ) in Chambolle-Musigny beneath their home, overlooking Les Feusselottes.

Guided by his passion and determination for excellence, Louis chooses to forego pesticides and maintain low yields. The estate spans nearly 7 hectares across Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, with an additional vineyard in Moulin-à-Vent added in 2013. Utilising up to 30% new French oak, the wines are aged for 15 to 18 months to achieve a harmonious and elegant flavour profile. Along
