The aromatic Riesling juice is given extended skin contact, then wild fermented in large French oak foudre (barrels), one made by Marc Grenier in France and the other by the Schneckenleitner family in Austria.

Vintage 2022 began with a very cool spring, misty conditions and low hanging fog. Fruit flowering took some time due to the cooler conditions which is typical for the region after a larger vintage in 2021. Low crops resulted in high concentration of flavour in both the Great Western and Rhymney Riesling vineyards.
