'New Morning' is a Golden Sour aged in oak barrels and infused with Blackberries and Rhubarb from Future Mountain Brewing. Ripe blackberries and bright red rhubarb was sourced from their friends at Rayners Orchards. This barrel aged sour has a perfect blend of tartness with soft earthy and savoury flavours. Pouring a bright reddish/pink and aromatically is reminiscent of blackberry and rhubarb crumble.

In autumn Future Mountain brewery managed to get their hands on some ripe blackberries and bright red rhubarb from their friends at Rayners orchards. After blanching the rhubarb they moved the fruit into barrels and racked on a golden sour beer that had been ageing in their cellar for 9 months. Chosen for its deep funky notes, soft acidity and oaky/vanilla aromas, this sour beer was then allowed to referment on the fruit for 8 weeks. Earthy, savory and tart, pouring a bright reddish/pink and aromatically reminds us of blackberry and rhubarb crumble enjoyed as a kid.
