The Turkey Flat Rosé 2018 is to be enjoyed with Friends, under a tree on a hot, summer's day. Not summer? Just turn up the heat & serve with Asian or Spanish inspired spicy or seafood dishes."Turkey Flat is always remarkably quick to market with its famous Rose. This release is still settling into itself but it’s also clearly very good.It walks a great line. Dry and savoury in part, bright and fruity in other. It’s copper-crimson in colour, is slashed with raspberried fruit flavour and also carries dry spice, orange jelly and herb notes. It’s absolutely spot on delicious drinking." 93 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, September 2018, Drink: 2018 - 2020

Winery & Vintage Info

Beginning in 1994, we were amongst the first to lead the great Rosé Revival & have since developed a cult following. Beautifully aromatic, this is a light, crisp & dry blend.

The 2018 growing season was long, hot and dry leading to a slightly early, low yielding vintage. The wines from the 2018 vintage are fruit rich, well coloured and of substance. The vintage will be remembered for producing wines that reflect the generosity for which has made the Barossa famous.

Bucking the notion that Rosé is an afterthought, our ‘Prince of Pink’ Turkey Flat Grenache Rosé 2018 has a special place in our hearts & is crafted with a clear purpose. We create the lifted palate of bright, primary fruits by placing rosey-cheeked Grenache in its starring role. Sourced from specific sites achieving perfect yields promoting prominent primary fruit while retaining appealing palate cleansing crispness.

Harvested March 2018, 8.5°-14° Baumé, no oak treatment, bottled in June 2018 this is a fresh wine best consumed in its youth, always serve chilled. Winery Notes
