After the success of the original Forgiven, where the team at Wild Turkey accidently pumped Bourbon into the Rye Whiskey tank, Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell gave it another go -this time intentionally. Calling it Wild Turkey Forgiven Special Edition Rye & Straight Bourbon Batch 302 they used a slightly different set of whiskies and went about making a more refined version of the original Forgiven.
