PUNI Nova is the distillery's purest expression, highlighting what the combination of malted Barley, Rye and Wheat contributes to the overall spirit with less influence of the oak. Maturation primarily takes place in American oak and finished in new French Limousin oak.

Expect delicate flavours of vanilla, tropical fruits, and supple, creamy mouthfeel.

Distillery Info

The first and only whisky distillery in Italy, PUNI distillery was established by the Ebensperger family in 2010. The first spirit ran off the stills in 2012, with the first batch of whisky released in October 2015.

Situated within the village of Glorenza - 'The Italian Highlands' - amongst the scenic Italian Alps, Puni utilizes its geographical location to full advantage, incorporating alpine water and locally sourced malted grains (Rye and Wheat, with the Barley sourced from Austria). The distillery has also been fortunate enough to gain access to barrels from Italy's most prominent wine and fortified wine producing regions (Marsala, Barolo, anyone?). We conclude the future is bright for PUNI, and certainly one to follow in the years to come.
