La CofradÃa® was founded more than 50 years ago, with the convergence of the geography of Tequila, the yeasts from ancient leafy mango trees, hand in hand with the element of water, sourced from an extinct volcano (Mt Tequila).
The Brand has always distinguished itself as a company that produces a quality product; Excellent agave tequila, made using traditional processes, but in a modern industrial factory, from premium Blue Webber Agave.
Above all, we mix this quality drink with traditional Mexican crafts, bottling our Tequilas in ceramic and blown glass bottles, sharing the true flavour of Mexico with the world.
It is a fact most of our range sold in Australia are specifically hand made, decorated and fired to create the Ceramic containers which our Premium and Super Premium Spirits are captured in then sent to Melbourne.
We support a small community of Ceramic Moulders, Artists for decorating and firing our products on site. Everything you enjoy from La Cofradia® is an integral part in supporting our artists, allowing the development of new and more beautiful items, which can be enjoyed long after the Spirits of Tequila have left the bottle.
