The Devil's Corner Pinot Grigio 2021 is bright, vibrant and youthful in colour. With fragrant aromas, enticing with highlights of pears and tropical fruit, against an attractive herbal backdrop. The palate is showing excellent weight and intensity and loaded with the flavour of ripe, yellow pears and apples alongside some spice and savoury notes. The finish is crisp and clean and with enough acidity to leave the mouth watering for more. Drink while young and fresh.

Serve with crumbed and grilled sardines and a squeeze of lemon. Also try it with a large smoked trout ravioli that is finished in a pan with olive oil, capers and some diced chilli.

Winery & Vintage Info

The fruit for the 2021 vintage Pinot Grigio was predominantly from Devil's Corner Hazards vineyard located on the East coast of Tasmania. The fruit was harvested and loaded directly to the press with initial oxidative handling to achieve a vibrant white wine colour and avoid any pink hues. It was then racked and fermented in tank under protective conditions and cool temperature to preserve aromatic qualities. There was also a small amount of partial lees contact and stirring in tank to aid in mouth feel and complexity. Vegan-friendly. Winery Notes
